Wednesday of next week (March 11) all of the students will be offering short presentations on their research reports to the class. Students are expected to share key elements from their reports, and include snappy introductions and cogent summaries. They may use outlines to help them remember what to say, but they are not to read to the class from a script or speech.
The class is being encouraged to be creative in how they present; plays, songs, Powerpoint presentations, movies, game shows, costumed role plays, models and posters are just some the ways they could present their information.
Although the class will be getting some time to prepare in school, they will also need parent help to create an exciting end-of-project celebration. Hint: It is recommended that presentations involving technology be completed by the end of the weekend.
