Homework: Oct 13th

– Tonight students should do a “No Peeking Sort” with someone at home. Parents/Guardians should lay down a word from each category as a header and then read the rest of the words aloud. Your child must indicate where the word goes without seeing it. lay it down and let your child move it if he or she is wrong. Repeat if your child makes more than one error. It is important that students know which headings the words fall under, as that is part of the spelling test.
– Tomorrow students will do “Back Spelling” and a “Writing Sort” to prepare for their spelling test on Friday.

– Students should prepare for their test on Friday. They can use their science duo tangs (which should have come home tonight) to help fill out the study guide. Unfortunately, science text books cannot leave the classroom, but students will have the opportunity tomorrow to prepare with their texts in class.

All donations for the class basket “Death By Chocolate” (for the raffle) should be in by October 21st. There is a box in the classroom where students can drop these items when they come in. Thanks for your support!

Thank you,
Miss Stevenson
