We have begun reading our class novel, the classic children’s book “The Secret World Of Og”, getting as far as chapter three. The spelling list for this week is made up of words from the novel. The homework tonight, then, is to practice those words by writing sentences using each spelling word. The twist is that the sentences have to either seem to have come from the first six chapters of the novel. They don’t have to actually represent the story, as the class has only begun the story. Students can write sentence that might be about the story! There is also a little art assignment to complete at the bottom back of the sheet.
